I am planning on changing the location for the meeting for this week. I plan on being at Mayorga Coffee Factory in Silver Spring for this week. Following Luis de la Rosa’s really cool meeting last saturday, I am trying to network some more with people from the meeting. So for this week I will change the location. If you, think the location should permanently change to this, or some other location, please let me know in the comments.

 I started the meeting in the Tyson’s area Panera because it is on my (long) way between work and home. And obviosly because it provides free WiFi. My biggest gripe with this location is it’s inaccesiblity from Metro rail. I have heard suggestions in the past of moving to Clarendon, but I have not seen enough commitment out there for me to make my commute even longer. If enough people were interested I would gladly try different places. I would event entertain the idea of a moving location. Something like, first week of the month is Tyson’s, second is Silver Spring, third is Clarendon…

So by all means, if you have a suggestion please let me know.

I am still trying to figure out how to run an FFT from the accelerate framework. I wish I had more time to work on these things! right now cocoa only get 1 or 2 hours a week! Thats what three kids under four does to your schedule… oh well. Still I hope to get this to work tonite.
